ZAKIR Khan has been appointed as the president of Niyuddha Association of Maharashtra (NAM), an ancient form of Indian Martial art also called as ‘Niyuddha Kride’. Khan was appointed to the post by Narendra Shrivastava, 13th Degree Sofran Belt, Niyuddhacharya, Founder and World Chief Technical Director, World Niyuddha Federation. The other members of the association are Emmanuel Philip, Pankaj Khandagale, Rakesh Dhoke, Sachin Lohakare, Hemant Yadav, Shahwar Khan, Aminuddin Sheikh, Sarvesh Gaidhane, Monojit Paul, Hemant Kumar, Tarul Barve, Tina Barve, Mrunal Wankhede, Tejaswini Dhoke, Aaryan Mishra, Yash Kohale, Aayush Tipre, Altamash Ansari, Afnan Ahmed, Saemoon, Sara and Anabiya. Meanwhile, the World Niyuddha Federation and Niyuddha Sports Federation of India has also organised 39th Annual Invisible Niyuddha Workshop-cum-training camp 2021, from June 6 to 27. The camp is being held online on Zoom platform.
