Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding in Chief Central Command, visited Jabalpur on Friday. He was accompanied by Nidhi Dimri, Regional President of Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), Central Command. The General Officer reviewed the ongoing operational and administrative preparedness of the units and establishments of the Cobra Formation. He visited the Regimental Centres and undertook assessment of the improvements in training infrastructure at the establishments. During his visit to the Army Base Workshop he undertook review of the equipment sustenance practices.
 
He exhorted all ranks to maintain a high standard of equipment readiness and be righteous in their conduct. He appreciated and commended the efforts of the Cobra Formation towards meeting the challenges of the formations in the current COVID situation. Nidhi Dimri visited welfare institutions of the Cobra Formation. She undertook first hand assessment of the facilities being provided to the special children at Asha School. She commended all functionaries of the institution for their selfless dedication towards the initiative.
 
The initiatives towards enhancing the self reliance threshold of the families and dependents were appreciated by the Regional President AWWA. Reviews operational, administrative preparedness of HQ Madhya Bharat Area: Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C Central Command, also reviewed the operational and administrative preparedness of HQ Madhya Bharat Area and the establishments at Jabalpur. He appreciated the high standards set by the formation in all domains of endeavour, particularly its efforts to contain COVID in its vast AoR spanning six states. He exhorted all ranks to continue their exemplary efforts towards excellence.
