Crime Branch and Gora Bazar police arrested the three accused involved in killing a youth on a petty issue and seized three knives, a motorcycle and a mobile handset from them. The accused have been identified as Bhupendra alias Shanu Yadav (23), son of Suresh Yadav, resident of APR Colony, behind SBI Branch, Tilhari in Gora Bazar, Abhishek alias Gaurav Rawat (23), son of Sushil Rawat, a resident of near SBI Branch, Bilahri and Dushyant Singh (20), son of Kamleshwar Singh Bisht, resident of Bilahri in Gora Bazar. Additional SP (South/Crime), Gopal Prasad Khandel informed this while addressing a press conference, on Sunday. ASP Khandel informed that, on June 19 night, a boy, Durga Prasad Gond was killed by three unidentified boys in Siddha Nagar area.
 
Learning about the incident, a police team reached the spot where a boy, Ravi Gond informed that he along with Durga Prasad Baiga and Rohit Gond reached to meet Raj Khan in Saliwara area. They were returning on a motorcycle when they stopped at Siddha Nagar area where three miscreants stopped them and demanded matchstick and Gutkha and one of them snatched Gutkha from Durga Prasad. Durga Prasad objected them for the same when miscreants started abusing them. They objected for abusing when the miscreants took out knife and wounded Durga Prasad Baiga on his chest, abdomen and shoulder and managed to escape from the spot. Before they manage to rush Durga Prasad at hospital he succumbed to his grave injuries due to profuse bleeding. Gora Bazar police registered a case under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC.
 
Continuing a rigorous search, Crime Branch received information about a miscreant named Bhupendra alias Shanu Yadav who is a habitual criminal and recently returned home after completing his exiling period and recently sight with two other boys riding on a motorcycle. Taking prompt action on the information, police started a search and nabbed the suspected man. In the interrogation, the accused broke out and confessed the killing of Durga Prasad with the help of accomplice, Abhishek alias Gaurav Rawat and Dushyant Singh Bisht. On his identification, police team nabbed the two more accused and retrieved three knifes, a motorcycle (MP 20 MY 9612) and a mobile handset from them.
