SPORTS Authority of India (SAI) has announced names of 27 badminton players who would be trained by the Khelo India at its Nagpur Coaching Centre. SAI and Khelo India has decided to train sportspersons all over the country at grassroot level so that there is a pool of talented players all over the country. The Sports Authority of India-Khelo India badminton centre will be coming up at the Sports Complex of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University situated in Ravi Nagar, Amravati Road. Former national level player of Nagpur Jayant Dhole has been appointed as the coach of the squad. The selected players are (girls) Shourya Ratanmala, Riddhima Subhash, Fiza Akbani, Krish Soni, Nishikha Gokhe, Vidushi Tayal, Sai Jais, Anavi Raut, Siya Kongre, Nikita Joseph, Kinipi Sajwan, Pinak Rokde, Aditi Sadhankar, Ananya Dhananjay and Sofiya Simon. The selected boys are Runa Sajwan, Aalap Paljhikar, Sairaj Nayse, Amey Naktode, Aditya Gadge, Varun Kolte, Jeeva Pillay, Piyanshu Dubey, Chorahmitsingh Sokhi, Sanvik Chaudhary, Anmesh Patil and Rudra Kaghare.
