Sky remained partial cloudy across Madhya Pradesh. In Bhopal, scorching heat gave a harrowing time to the people. Same was the condition in many other places of State. In last twenty-four hours, rains lashed many parts of State. Weather Department told that during last twenty-four hours, rains lashed Ajaygarh (5 cm), Manpur (4 cm), Lovekush Nagar, Badwah, Sohawal, Satna, Silwani, Datia, Ishawah, Badwara (3 cm each), Chanderi, Shahdol, Baghelan, Uchera, Khajuraho, Pali, Umaria (2 cm each), Sagar, Rehli, Rewa, Rajnagar, Patharia, Naugaon (1 cm each). In its forecast, rainfall and thunder activities are likely in Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, Chambal, Indore, Ujjain divisions and districts including Rewa, Satna, Anuppur, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Damoh, Sagar, Chhattarpur and Tikamgarh.
 
Thunder activities, accompanied by high velocity winds, are likely in some places of Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, Chambal. Indore, Ujjain divisions and districts including Rewa, Satna, Anuppur, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Damoh, Sagar, Chhattarpur and Tikamgarh districts. Some places got drenched by rains in State on Wednesday as well. As far as maximum temperature is concerned then Bhopal recorded maximum temperature of 39.4 degrees Celsius, 1 degree below normal. Jabalpur recorded maximum temperature at 38.6 degrees Celsius, 2 degrees below normal. Gwalior recorded maximum temperature at 39.9 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees below normal level. Even as maximum temperatures remain below normal level, humidity is haunting people round the clock. People are using fans, coolers and air conditioners round the clock to have some relief from excruciating humidity.
