HCG Cancer Centre celebrated its 4th anniversary and National Cancer Survivors Day in an innovative way. In view of ongoing pandemic hospital has organised two on-line contests for cancer survivors. About 50 cancer patients and survivors participated in the contests. Art kit was provided to all from hospital. The event culminated in a ceremonial function by celebrating 4th annual day of Hospital- “SAMAVAYA 2021”. Director and Head of Oncosurgery Dr Ajay Mehta, Chief Operating Officer Venkateshvarlu Marapaka, Radiation Oncologist Dr Vaibhav Sonwani and Dr Ashish Bhange and Hemato-oncologist Dr Nishad Dhakate, Pathologist Dr Manjit Rajput and Radiologist Dr Nilesh Haran felicitated the winners of both the activities.

 

Dr Ajay Mehta briefed the journey of how HCGNCHRI came into existence. He shared his experiences from initial days of project till present day. Venkateshwarlu Marapaka, COO of Hospital, has congratulated all the winners and hospital staff on completion of four successful years and also felicitated outstanding employees of the year. Dr Suchitra Mehta briefed the participants about the activities. Dr Anjali Joshi gave a presentation on the participation of patients. Cancer counselor Dr Kamaljeet Randhe conducted the programme. Patient coordinator Kalpana Sonule proposed vote of thanks.
