Western Central Railway (WCR) General Manager Shailendra Kumar Singh in coordination with heads of different departments conducted inspection of Jabalpur-Bina Rail block on Tuesday. During the inspection, General Manager Shailendra Kumar Singh examined railway stations, railway bridges, Rail path, OHE and signal system located at Jabalpur-Bina Rail Block. He conducted inspection of Katni-Bina third line and instructed the officials concerned to increase the speed of goods train plying at the route. Further, GM Shailendra Shukla examined the Road over Bridge being constructed near Katni Mudwara Station and instructed the concerned officials to complete it soon. He instructed the concerned officials to complete the work related to restoration of Sagar goods yard to Lidhorakhurd station.
 
GM Shailendra Kumar Shukla inspected the work of doubling of railway tracks from Mahadeokhedi to Malkhedi railway station. He also examined seven small-sized bridges, one large bridge and three ROBs. The total length of doubling of railway tracks of Bina-Guna section is 118.37 km. The doubling of railway tracks will help in increasing the speed of passenger trains at Bina-Guna section. The Divisional Railway Manager, Bhopal Division visited Bina station to inspect unfinished Memu shade. During interaction with senior officials, DRM, Bhopal Division instructed senior concerned officials to complete the construction work of Memu shade. Notable, the constructyion work of Memu shade is expected to finish shortly. The construction of Memu shade will facilitate maintenance of eight rakes of Memu train at Bina Memu shade. General Railway Manager, Divisional Railway Manager, RVNL officers and other senior officers were present.
