Kamal Nath meets Governor, apprises about State’s law and order situation

Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath met Governor Mangubhai Patel at Raj Bhavan on Friday. Later, Kamal Nath told waiting mediapersons that during meeting, he informed Governor about law and order situation of State.
He told the Governor that people of SC,ST are not safe in State. Apart from presenting the situation of tribals, he also informed Governor about the problems of farmers, small traders, unemployed youths, about murder of a tribal family in Nemawar of Dewas, about the flattened economic structure of State.
He said that instead of decline, unemployment is soaring in state. He also told to Governor that the decision taken by previous Congress government to increase OBC reservation quota to 27 per cent from 14 per cent should be implemented by Shivraj Government.
He also said that he remained in hospital for 11 days as he was suffering from pneumonia but now he is well and will tour entire state. In connection with upcoming by-elections in State, he told that he is regularly conducting meeting and on coming time, candidates will be declared. On inclusion of Jyotiraditya Scindia into Modi Cabinet, he said that it is between Scindia and BJP. In a veiled attack on Scindia and BJP, he quipped that “Will see how the vehicle moves”. He also asserted now there is no boundary of inflation. BSP Leader from Chambal, Ranjeet Singh joins Congress: BSP leader from Mehgaon (Chambal) Ranjeet Singh Guja joined Congress on Friday. He met former Chief Minister Kamal Nath at his house and took Congress membership. Kamal Nath exuded hope on him that he will work to strengthen the Congress. On this occasion, former Minister Dr Govind Singh, acting State Congress President Ram Niwas Rawat etc were also present.
