ACCUSED of abducting minor and sexual exploitation, absconding for over three years, has been arrested in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh. While solving the pending case Bhilai Nagar police successfully track down the accused and arrested him. The police produced in the accused in the court from where he was remanded to jail. Police sources informed that the accused arrested by police was identified as Pankaj Ahirwar (25), a resident of Seoni in Madhya Pradesh state. The police said that the accused Pankaj Ahirwar was staying here at his relatives’ place in Hospital Sector, Bhilai and in the first week of May month of the year 2018 he had abducted the victim minor girl. On report of missing of the victim girl and registering abduction offence the victim was rescued from Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh state after two to three days of report but the accused Pankaj Ahirwar was absconding since then.
 
Police sources further informed that in the pending case of crime against minor, the specially constituted Bhilai Nagar police team led by ASI Jitendra Chandrakar in supervision of SHO Vijay Kumar Thakur, successfully track down the accused and arrested him in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh state. The police have registered the offence against the accused under sections 363, 366, 376 of Indian Penal Code for abducting a minor girl, sexually exploiting her and sections 3 and 4 of Protection of Children and Sexual Offence Act. Vijay Kumar Thakur, Station House Officer (SHO), Bhilai Nagar Police Station informed that in accordance of directives police are also investigating into pending case specially those of crime against woman and minors and succeeded in solving one in which the accused of abducting minor and sexual exploitation was absconding.
