Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal on Saturday went to Ward-25 and Ward-26 and interacted with the denizens to become aware with problems being faced by them. The Mayor verified the availability of basic amenities in the wards and stressed on regular cleaning of drains, roads etc to make the city clean. Mayor in Council in-charges Hamid Khokhar, Satyavati Verma, Corporator Bijendra Bharadwaj and others accompanied the Mayor. Mayor directed for cleaning of the drains and asked to make proper arrangements of water outlet.

 

On his cycle, the Mayor conducted inspection at Sindhi Colony, behind Bunkar Sangh, Gayatri Temple Ward, behind Swaroop talkies etc. In wards, former Mayor R N Verma and former Speaker Rajkumar Narayani also met the Mayor. He directed the officials for regular cleaning of places saying that water outlet facility must be there. He also said that negligence in the work related to basic amenities will not be tolerated. Mayor said that for making Durg a model place we have to quit our habits of throwing trash on roads and in drains. He also directed the officials to get the drains cleaned by engaging sanitary workers. Engineer MP Goswami, Ratna Naramdev, Karan Yadav, Jasveer Singh Bhuval, Manish Yadav, Rajkumar Pali, Ajay Mishra and others were present.
