Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary inspected several vaccination camps set-up at residential areas in the State capital on Saturday. Chaudhary has directed officials to merge the accounts of property and water tax as well as he has instructed the staffers to ensure effective collection of revenue and other tax. In order to recover the taxes, he has directed the Assistant Engineers of Water Works Department to generate the bills and distribute them among the people concerned. Commissioner has also instructed to identify the properties left out of property taxation and recover the remaining taxes. Amount of water consumer charges will be deposited in the local ward office with the ward in-charge and proper entries of the accounts should be maintained on the app, he added.

 

He inspected several residential areas of the city including Bagheera Apartment, Machna Colony, Sonagiri and Awadhpuri. During the inspection, Chaudhary received all the necessary information regarding property tax, water charges and waste management charges. He has urged the citizens to co-operate with the corporation staff and provide information to link water and property tax accounts. Along with this, he also obtained information regarding vaccination camps being organised in the areas. During this, he discussed with residents and received information regarding payment of taxes and door-to-door garbage collection. He further directed to improve the garbage collection system in Bagheera Apartment and do maintenance work of road after the rainy season in this area. Additional Commissioner Pawan Singh and other officers were also present during the inspection.
