POLICE busted the interstate sex-racket, being operated at a hotel in Nehru Nagar, Bhilai and arrested three including two women and a pimp on late Saturday evening. Acting in the matter police registered the offence under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) and are further investigating. Police sources informed that on Saturday late evening, while acting upon the complaints of mushrooming flesh trade racket at Rajshree Hotel by highway in Nehru Nagar, Bhilai, the police team, led by C Tirky, Station House Officer, Mahila Thana, Bhilai laid a trap and arrested three including two accused women after having raided Rajshree Hotel, located at highway in Nehru Nagar, Bhilai. Elaborating upon police operation, the police said that as per provisions of PITA Act, the police sent a mock customer with marked currency, and on being signaled after payment the police team raided the hotel while rounding up the accused. The police arrested the accused along with recovery of marked currency from their possession.
 
The police also said that the accused pimp arrested by police was identified as Manish Singh (26), a resident of Mominpura, Nagpur, Maharashtra. While the accused girls arrested on charges of involvement in immoral trade were from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and Kolkata, West Bengal. While citing confession of the accused pimp, the police said that he was actively involved in the racket as he used to entice customers and operating sex racket at the hotel in Bhilai. The police also recovered the contraceptive pills, condoms and other such paraphernalia from the hotel.
 
While confirming the details, DKS Sisodiya, Station House Officer, Supela, Bhilai informed that acting upon the complaints pouring in from Nehru Nagar, Bhilai area, after laying the trap for effectively checking complaints of immoral activities in the area, police carried out raid and arrested the accused men and women for indulging in immoral activity and flesh trade. He added that the police are also investigating into role of hotel owner and staffers into immoral trade and based on facts legal action would be initiated in the matter.
