Many renowned poets recited their verses in a virtual International Poetry Seminar organised by Hindi Bhawan Bhopal. Ex-Deputy Director General of Aakashvani, Laxmi Shankar Vajpayee presided over the seminar. Renowned poets like Vinod Dubey (Singapore), Alka Sinha (New Delhi), Dr Vandana Mukesh (UK), Agnishekhar (Jammu) and Dr Ranjana Argade (Bhopal) presented their compositions in the seminar. The poetry seminar was anchored by Lakshminarayan Payodhi. The guests were welcomed by, Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Kailash Chandra Pant. On the other hand, activities of Hindi Bhawan were introduced by Director Jawahar Karnawat. The seminar started off with the compositions of Dr Vinod Dubey, who by his poem interwove the pain of NRI’s and memories of his hometown Banaras.
 
While Alka Sinha’s poetry was more of life oriented. Dr Vandana Mukesh emphasised on the fact that how easily happiness can be snatched if one thinks of his desires. Bhopal’s, Rajana Argade began her piece with ‘Panth Gatha’. The eminent poet of Jammu, Agnishekhar, through his poem reminisced the beauty of his mountains, back home. Laxmishankar Vajpayee while presiding the seminar, charmed the audience by reciting couplets, Mahiyas and Kahamukriyans. The programme ended with the note of thanks proposed by Administrative Officer of Hindi Bhawan, Kanta Roy. The online seminar was attended by poetry lovers from country and abroad.
