Governor Anusuiya Uikey’s assurance has come as a ray of hope for seven-year-old specially abled Shashiprabha, who belongs to a poor family in small village Karkali of Balrampur district, and is not able to speak and walk. After coming across the reports regarding the girl, who lost her father, Governor Anusuiya Uikey had communicated with the Balrampur district administration and asked to send Shashiprabha and her family members to Raj Bhawan.

 

The objective to invite the girl to Raj Bhawan was to give her proper treatment by expert doctors, so that she can walk and speak. The girl’s financial condition of Shashiprabha does not allow her to go for advanced treatment. Her family consulted doctors in Surguja but the treatment was not possible here. She reached Raj Bhawan on Monday with her mother Phulmaniya. Shashiprabha will now be treated in Raipur.
