Incharge Minister of Bhopal and Urban Administration and Development Minister Bhupendra Singh directed to prepare scheme within one month to ensure adequate supply of drinking water to entire population of Bhopal. He also directed to make all necessary arrangements to prevent possible third wave. He was reviewing development works of Bhopal district on Tuesday. He said that illegal colonies will be shortly legalised so that citizens should get all necessary facilities. He also gave approval to proposal to name Babadia Kalan Overbridge in the name of former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur.
 
By taking into consideration suggestions of members of meeting, he instructed Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner to present revised plan in next one month in relation to distribution of drinking water and individual drinking water connection. He told that State Government has taken in principle decision to notify Bhopal as Metro City which will result into planned development of city and people will get better facilities. Moreover, he directed to organise camps to provide employment to locals at Bhanpur landfill site development work and Adampur landfill site. By seeing development works on city boundaries, he instructed to immediately send a proposal to the Government to increase boundaries of the city.
 
He also directed to prepare route of 64 city buses by discussing with members of committee. He was of the view that bus operation route should be prepared in such a manner that people across city, especially working women and students should get benefited. In review meeting, consensus was developed to send a proposal to centre to make AIIMS more public oriented. He took suggestion given by Member of Parliament Pragya Thakur that better facilities should be provided at AIIMS. On the suggestion of members that AIIMS do not give necessary importance to elected representatives, he gave his nod to send a proposal to centre in this regard. The meeting was attended by MLAs Rameshwar Sharma, Vishnu Khatri, Krishna Gaur, PC Sharma, Arif Aqueel.
