WANTED goon Vinod Bihari, absconding for three months in extortion case, was nabbed in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. Police said that the goon was wanted in fresh extortion case and since the offence was registered three months ago, he was absconding along with the accomplice. The accused has been indulging in heinous offences like kidnappings and murders for last three decades. Talking to the mediapersons, ASP (City), Sanjay Kumar Dhruv informed that after the complaint lodged by victim Sandeep Kumar Shrivastava, a resident of Kadambari Nagar, Durg, regarding extortion of Rs 8 lakh by threatening him, the offence was registered against Vinod Bihari (52), a resident of Deepak Nagar, Durg on April 2 and ever since he was absconding along with his accomplice, Somu Bihari, in this case.
 
In the ongoing extensive search to round-up wanted criminals at large, police succeeded in laying hands on goon Vinod Bihari from Satna district in Madhya Pradesh. The police were keeping tabs on movements of the goon Vinod Bihari, recorded in Nagpur and Gondia and finally police teams successfully trapped him in Satna. However, his accomplice Somu Bihari is absconding and police are on lookout for him. ASP Dhruv informed that in 1991, mobster Vinod Bihari started in indulging in offences of criminal assault and threatening and later murder, kidnapping, rioting, extortion etc. In yet another breakthrough in nabbing absconding criminals police also tracked down absconding transgender Kajal Kinnar (30), a resident of Rajeev Nagar, Durg. She is an accused in a murder case and recently she had fled the police custody after she was shifted to District Hospital, Durg for treatment.
