Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that from July 26, classes of 11th and 12th standard of the State board will be started with 50 per cent capacity. There is a possibility of a third wave of corona, but at present the situation in the State is under control. State Government is constantly vigilant about the situation of corona infection. The decision is being taken to open educational institutions while staying alert.
 
He was speaking at the dedication programme of the building of Vidya Bharti Madhya Kshetra Bhopal’s educational, research and training institute ‘Akshara’. He also dedicated the school building in the campus built in Arera Colony E-4. Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Dattatreya Hosabale and National President of Vidya Bharati Ramakrishna Rao were specially present in the programme. Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, MSME Minister Omprakash Saklecha, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for School Education Inder Singh Parmar, BJP State President V D Sharma were also present in the programme. CM said that studies and school activities of children have been affected due to corona pandemic. Studies are going on through online and virtual process, but its effectiveness is yet to be assessed. Children are getting frustrated by staying at home for a long time. School administrators have their problems.
 
In these circumstances, in view of the corona infection under control in the State, it has been decided to start school operations in a phased manner. He said that schools would be started with 50 per cent capacity from July 26 for classes 11 and 12. Schools will be held four days a week. A batch of 50 per cent capacity will attend school for two days, for next two days another batch of remaining 50 per cent students will come to the school.
