July 17 As per the directives of the new Superintendent of Police (SP) Prashant Agrawal, actions against gangsters, history-sheeters and habitual offenders are being initiated. The police have been also taking actions against the anti-socials as per the directives of the SP. In this chain, Mohan Nagar Police nabbed the infamous goon Sanjay Bihari alias Sanjay Singh Rajput (39), son of Veer Bahadur Singh, a resident of Deepak Nagar from Four Seasons Hotel, Deepak Nagar. It is worth mentioning that more than 15 criminal cases in Mohan Nagar Police Station and other police stations are registered against Sanjay Bihari.

 

Presently, he is running Hotel Four Season and Bar at Deepak Nagar. Actions under preventive sections have been initiated against him earlier for more than one and half dozen times. He was also absconding in an illicit liquor supply case number 91/2021 pending with the Mohan Nagar Police. He has been reportedly remanded to judicial custody. Mohan Nagar Station House Officer Brijesh Kushwaha, Assistant Sub Inspector Bheekham Sahu, constable Farukh Khan, Javed Khan, Dhirendra Yadav and Chitrasen played significant role in ensuring arrest of the accused.
