Rainfall activities have started in isolated places of State. In Bhopal, sky remains cloudy and there was a spell of drizzling during evening hours. Weather Department has forecast very heavy rains in a few parts of State. Heavy rains accompanied by thunder activities are likely in some places of Hoshangabad, Shahdol divisions and districts including Vidisha, Raisen, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Seoni etc. Rains and thunder activities are likely in maximum places of Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Rains are also likely in many places of Ujjain and Indore divisions respectively. In last 24 hours, rains lashed Singrauli (13 cm), Tamia, Tendukheda, Chitrangi (10 cm each), Pachmarhi, Khirkia (8 cm each), Malthon, Niwadi (7 cm each), Sohawal, Bhander, New Harsood, Alirajpur (6 cm each), Betul, Datia, Punasam dam, Khandwa, Kareli, Devsar, Sarai, Satna (5 cm each) respectively.
 
Revival of rainfall activities in some regions of State have brought back a smile on faces of people and they are expecting spread of rainfall activities in remaining regions in coming days. In Bhopal, Badi of Raisen district, weather remained cloudy and spell of drizzling was witnessed. As rainfall activities are taking place in sundry parts of State, humidity level has come down to some extent. Rainfall activities are on revival path after a long time. The gap in rainfall activities have put mercury level on boiling path. People faced sweltering weather condition. Even now also, there is rainfall activities in some regions but most regions are still dry despite cloudy weather conditions.
