The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of CMD College Bilaspur organised a day long camp at Nevsa village, which has been adopted by the NSS unit, under the guidance of Programme Officer Dr P L Chandrakar and Dr K K Shukla. The NSS unit donated a television to the family of Anjori Baiga of the village with the support of Mahesh Wadhwani. The main objective of the donation was to connect the Baigas with the development taking place around them and help get aware about schemes of the state government.

Baigas will be educated by connecting them with the rest of the world through this TV. Along with this, for environmental protection and increasing the amount of oxygen in nature, peepal and fruit bearing trees and medicinal plants were planted on the occasion. CMD College Chairman Pandit Sanjay Dubey and Principal Dr Sanjay Singh appreciated the efforts of NSS. Lewis Bhaskar Kaushik, Mohd. Baakar, Khileshwar Krishe, Lokesh Gupta, Basant Kashyap, Suryansh and other volunteers gave their contribution.
