POLICE nabbed four minors and confiscated booty worth over Rs 2.67 lakh in connection with the burglary reportedly occurred at a house in Nehru Nagar (West), Bhilai. After the matter was reported Supela Police successfully tracked the minors, involved in the crime and took them into custody.
 
Suresh Kumar Dhruv, SHO, Bhilai Nagar Police Station informed that in this connection the complaint was filed by the victim BSNL Contractor, Deepak Gandhi, a resident of Nehru Nagar (West), Bhilai and as per the complaint on Friday morning, he along with the family members left home for a trip to Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh and he returned home after the phone call by the maid servant regarding burglary back at home. After the complaint police registered the offence and initiated investigation in the matter.
 
In the course of investigation with recording suspicious movement of minors in the area police apprehended few and crack the theft in the process. The police also confiscated the stolen valuables including gold and silver coins, expensive mobile phones and wads of cash worth Rs 1.24 lakh on instances of minors.
 
SHO, Dhruv informed that the minors entered the house through ventilations and grabbed cash and valuables after breaking open lockers. Among four minors held on charges of theft one has returned recently from juvenile home, SHO, Dhruv informed.
