Bachelor of Vocation students exhibited their concepts and projects at Institute of Renewable Energy Technology and Management, Pt Ravishankar Shukla Univerity, Raipur. Fifth semester students exhibited their projects and demonstrated working models especially based on Renewable Energy. The novel approach towards finding solutions to existing issues was much more appreciated by subject experts of Renewable domain. Concept and implementation of Free Energy Generation using Magnetic Engine was presented by Reshma Banjare, student of fifth semester. Sir Nikola Tesla’s long-held dream was to create a source of inexhaustible, clean energy that was free for everyone. He strongly opposed centralised coal-fired power stations that spewed carbon dioxide into the air that humans breathed and the students of B.Voc. supplemented the thoughts with their works.

The accumulation of dust on the surface of the solar cell causes a clear decrease in its performance, and this seems to be a very common and sincere issue when utilization of solar modules and payback of the system is concern. Our state has done pioneer works for making the city and state cleaner and greener by using non-conventional sources of energy and in align, government has installed numerous Solar PV Plants to encourage decentralized power generation but dust and dirt accumulation over the module doesn’t allowed to capitalize the advantage of PV Plants. The problem was identified and addressed by group comprised of Dhanendra, Lakshmi, Damini, Gayatri, Samriddhi and Aishwarya. The above students presented an Automatic Solar Module Cleaning System which works on Real Time Clock which makes system user friendly.

One can set timing and duration for frequency of cleaning. The water used is stored and re-used for other application and hence conservation and cleaning at one time made the system unique. , Solar & Ultrasonic Technique based Farm Security System has added security for open farms from animals & others by generating Ultrasonic waves. 40% more electricity is to be generated using existing solar panel was the idea of group comprised of Bhumika, Monika, Bhanupriya, Vikas and Dolly by implementing dual axis sun tracker system; Single axis trackers track in a singular way i.e. follows the Sun’s East-West or North-South movement, while Dual axis tracking has two degrees of freedom. These trackers hence have the potential to maximize the total power output by orienting the panels in direct sunlight for the maximum number of hours in a day. It was reported that dual axis solar panel generates up to 40% more electricity than a static type.

A gym developed by Nitin, Tushar Sahu, Vedprakash, Tushar Verma, Gitanshu and Raj Sahu will give power from your workout, the objective of working out is to expend some energy, but what if instead, you could create it? That’s the vision behind this project. The energy produced by the equipment is collected & stored in battery which later on utilized for productive works. Digitally Powered Bio-digester developed by Anand, Chandrahas, Kamta, Khilesh, Nageshwar was placed in the category of innovation. They implemented a system through which monitoring & controlling of Temperature, Humidity inside the bio-digester tank becomes easier. Proper decomposition of waste can give you ample amount energy to run your household activities like cooking, heating etc. Students presented their projects were now progressed to internships and each one of them is placed in Renewable Energy based Organizations. Domain Experts of the region applauded the achievements of department and congratulated Prof. Sanjay Tiwari for his visionary actions that lead the department to provide exceptional placement inlast 03 successful batches. It is well known that Institute of Renewable Energy Technology & Management is the only institute in region to cover diverse studies of solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and other renewable sources by offering Multi-entry & Multi-exit Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree. It is 03 years degree program having exit points as Certificate, Diploma & Advanced Diploma.

The course is approved by UGC, AICTE & Sector Skill Council. The Institute is also established as a Training Centre, funded by World Bank for Grid Connected Rooftop Solar PV Technical Assistance with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) & National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Government of India. Students, who might be in a search of pursue their academics in the most promising and ever-demanding field of green energy clean energy “Non-Conventional Energy: Renewable Energy” can fill the admission form for session 2021-22. For more details students may contact Prof. Sanjay Tiwari, Professor, Head and Coordinator, Institute of RETM or G S Rathore (9827966082) or B Gopal Krishna (8349640006).
