Probationary IAS Officers of 2020 batch met Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam in his chamber in Assembly on Tuesday. During their courtesy meet, they sought the guidance of Speaker on various subjects. They apprised themselves about working procedure of Assembly Secretariat. Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam informed them about various things related to assembly such as assembly proceedings, assembly traditions and about the history of Madhya Pradesh. He stressed that everyone should have realization of his duties. For strong democracy, this is must. He said that in district, many collector come and go but only two or three collector names remain struck in mind. He said administrative officers should work in such a manner that they should be remembered even after their transfer. He added that MP is confluence of many cultures.
 
While discharging the duty in the form of administrative officer, work of preserving culture should be also done. He also attracted the attention towards social evils prevailing in remote parts of state and emphasized on need for their eradication by taking support of society. He wished for bright future to probationary IAS officers including Abhishek Saraf, Anjali Ramesh, Vivek, Himanshu Jain, Prakar Singh, Anil Kumar Rathore, Ansuman Raj, Agrim Kumar etc.
