Students of vocational education show skills in online competitions

Students of vocational education being run in government schools of the state exhibited their skills in a five-day online competition organised under the joint aegis of Rajya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Indus Company. The competition aimed at infusing a new energy among the students of rural areas away from their schools for two years due to Corona pandemic and to bring out their hidden talents. Students from the area like Bastar also participated enthusiastically. In which, despite not having a leg, participant Sukmat of Damru village under Baloda Bazaar showed her dance skills. Ujjwal from Navapara-Rajim Harihar made pots using plastic bottles used in home to prevent environmental pollution. The picture of fish in the salad gave the message of Waste of Best. Falita, a student of Bastar, secured the first position by making many types of juices from vegetables and fruits. Arjun Miri, a media student of Harihar School, who participated in the race, gave the message of boosting immunity by using the traditional dish of Chhattisgarh. The competition was organised in different categories.
 
In Quiz, Ruchi Verma, Vaibhav Kaushik and Prachi Bhuval stood first second and third. In Painting, Kavita Sahu, Riddhi Ghritalahre and Pallavi Gajendra won first, second and third prize. In Waste of Best - Lalit, Ujjwal Yadav, Chhaya and Phuleshwar excelled. In Dance, Singing and Talent Hunt, Deepika, Muskan, Bhojkumari, Sukmat, Divya, Riya, Krish, Molly and Manu excelled. In Cooking, Falita, Reshmi, Sudhi emerged winners. In Debate, Akshat, Alpha Fiza and Akanksha excelled. Ajay Deshpande from RMSA, Toran Sahu from Lahi, Aanchal Mishra from Indus, Vishesh Saini, Aman Singh, Sayyedhamad, State Coordinator Kranti Dixit, Aditya Pillai and Brijesh Shukla played a special role in making the programnme success. The winners were given Rs 1000 cash prize and others were given certificates. Around 300 participants were registered. Padma Shri and actor Anuj Sharma was the guest for the Dance competition. Also present were Chholywood director Satish Jain and actor Karan Khan.
