Over 3 crore vaccine dose

More than 10.47 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered across the state on Wednesday. COVID-19 vaccination was done at 4,980 centres including 4,960 government sessions and 20 sessions were held at private institutes. The target of the health department was to administer a total of 52 thousand doses in the state captial, against which 32,030 shots were given on Wednesday.
 
The vaccination drive in the state which is hit by shortage of vaccine doses, earlier, the Madhya Pradesh High Court had instructed the government in centre to ensure sufficient COVID-19 vaccine doses in Madhya Pradesh, so that every citizen could get at least first dose of the vaccine by September end. According to information from CoWin portal, nearly 10,47,520 lakh doses were administered in the State by 9 pm. Indore maintained its lead with 63,424 doses, followed by Chhindwara and Jabalpur, where 35,948 and 35,946 doses were administered respectively. Bhopal has reported administration of 32,030 vaccine doses as vaccination was carried out 208 sites on Wednesday.
