CM thanks Team Indore for corona control measures, successful vaccination campaign

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has thanked Team Indore for the arrangements made for the control of corona in Indore and for the successful vaccination programme on Saturday. He expressed satisfaction over the preparations being made as a precaution for its control in view of the possibility of a third wave of corona. The Chief Minister said, “If such preparations are made, then the challenges of the third wave can be tackled easily.”
 
He said that the ‘roko toko’ campaign should be run continuously. Strictness should be maintained to make people follow the Covid protocol and special care, alertness and vigilance is must, so that the third wave of Corona does not emerge as a big challenge. He was addressing a review meeting on the arrangements for Corona at AICTSL Indore today. He reviewed the current status of Corona infection, efforts being made for prevention and the preparations being made to deal with the third wave of Corona, hospital, oxygen management, vaccination etc. Indore presents best example. He said that Indore team has done remarkable work for Corona control and vaccination during the last months. The challenge of Corona was faced with unity and coordination.
 
Corona was controlled in time. Significant achievement was made in the field of vaccination, for which the entire Indore team deserves to be congratulated. The work that Indore has done with harmony and unity is a good example. Indore has set an unique example in the country in many areas besides Corona control and vaccination. During the Corona period, there were proper arrangements for treatment etc. in government hospitals. As a result, people’s confidence in government hospitals has increased. Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shankar Lalwani, MLAs, members of State Disaster Management Committee, public representatives and senior officials were present on the occasion.
