Thirteen doctors were given special honours for their courageous and unprecedented contribution during the corona period, while 85 doctors were given mementoes and 560 certificates were given to junior doctors
 
 
 
Health Minister TS Singhdeo felicitated doctors of Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital (BRAMH) during a programme organised at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College here on Sunday. He appreciated sincere and dedicated efforts of doctors and their excellent service during the COVID period. Health Minister TS Singhdeo was present as the Chief guest during the programme jointly organised by the Chhattisgarh Medical Teachers Association and Junior Doctors Association on the occasion of National Doctor’s Day. During felicitation ceremony, those senior and junior doctors of the college were felicitated who discharged their medical duties with enthusiasm, dedication and courage during most difficult period of COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Thirteen doctors were given special honours for their courageous and unprecedented contribution during the corona period, while 85 doctors were given mementoes and 560 certificates were given to junior doctors to express gratitude for their continuous services during the corona period. Health Minister expressed gratitude for service offered by the doctors. Senior MLA Satyanarayan Sharma and Vikas Upadhyay, Director Medical Education Dr R K Singh, Dean of Medical College Dr Vishnu Dutt and Hospital Superintendent Dr Vinit Jain were present on the occasion. Dr Arvind Neral, President of Medical Teachers Association and Head of Department of Pathology in the Medical College, in his presidential address, gave details of the commendable work done by various departments of the college in the last 15 months of the Covid pandemic. He informed that three departments were shifted to other hospitals to make the hospital a Dedicated COVID Hospital.
