Cong demonstrates against rising crime against women

Congress organised a demonstration to register it’s protest against increasing atrocity incidents against women and girls in State on Tuesday. It accused the State Government of turning blind eye towards the law and order situation. Demonstration by Congress workers was staged at Roshanpura Square. It was led by former Minister P C Sharma and District Congress President Kailash Mishra. Demonstrating Congress workers and leaders raised slogans against Government and expressed concern on rising crime graph against women and girls. They said that one after another incidents are happening with women and it has created a fearful atmosphere in State.
 
They expressed serious concern over murder of five members (including two girls, one woman) of a tribal family in Nemawar of Dewas, brutal beating done with women in Alirajpur etc. Demonstrators said that State’s image is taking beating in the wake of incidents happening with women and girls. They also raised voice against growing inflation which is finally affecting the kitchen budget of women in every home of State. Raising the slogans against deteriorating law and order situation, Congressmen demanded resignation of Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra. Others who were present in the demonstration included former Mayor Vibha Patel, MLA Laxman Singh etc. Demonstrators were carrying placards in their hands on which slogans were written.
