Legal literacy camp was organised for the prisoners of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Jail, on Wednesday. The camp was organized under the legal awareness campaign following all the Covid-19 guidelines under the direction of the Chairman of District Legal Services authority and Secretary District Legal services authority Manish Singh Thakur and District Legal aid officer Mohammad Jilani, Advocate Shahid Mohammad intermediary District legal services authority and 5-Law interns. In the camp, information was given by Secretary Manish Singh Thakur about the background of the legal services authority and other facilities provided by the Legal services authority for the well being of the prisoners and information regarding submission of appeals before the courts of prisoners was given.
 
Law officer Ashok Singh informed about the importance of the camp, the meetings which are done of the prisoners by the panel advocates appointed with legal aid and informed about the daily counseling of the prisoners by the paralegal volunteers appointed in the jail. District legal aid officer Mohammad Jilani aware the prisoners about legal aid process and process of interim bail of prisoners. The prisoners were informed about their rights by law intern student Shubham Machhani. In the camp the problems of the prisoners were heard by secretary district legal service authority Manish Singh Thakur. At the end of the camp Thanksgiving was done by Deputy Jail Superintendant R.P. Mishra. The camp was organised by DIG Jail,under the guidance of Jail Superintendant Gopal Prasad Tamrakar, Law officer Ashok Singh, Assitanmt Jail superintendant Roopali Mishra, Anju Mishra and others.
