A campaign ‘Nirogi Kaya Abhiyan’ for screening of non-communicable diseases will be organised from August 15 to September 30. During this, a door-to-door survey will be carried out to collect information on non-communicable diseases of all people above 30 years of age. Under the campaign, patients of non-communicable diseases will be made aware of ways to prevent non-communicable diseases by identifying them at an early stage of the disease, raising awareness about non-communicable diseases in the society and modifying the lifestyle. In this regard, a meeting of the District Health Committee was organised under the chairmanship of Collector Avinash Lavania on Thursday. The Collector said that timely identification of diseases like diabetes, hypertension and cancer is very important. For this, share all the information related to your lifestyle, symptoms and diseases with health workers. So that proper treatment can be provided by screening them.
 
Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO Bhopal) Dr Prabhakar Tiwari said that during the campaign, ASHA workers of identified areas will go door-to-door in their respective areas and get a form filled from every person above 30 years of age. Dr Tiwari added that information of each family will be collected in the family folder. SEBC form scores have been determined on the basis of lifestyle and disease symptomatology. Screening of people with risk score more than 4 will be done on priority basis. NCDs will be given and information of each family SEBC form scores have been determined on the basis of lifestyle and disease symptoms will be recorded in the app. Under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, primary health centres and sub-health centres have been made functional as health and wellness centres. The campaign will be conducted at 91 health centres in the district. In which sub-health centres, urban and rural primary health centres are included. During the campaign, 2,97,000 people will be screened.
