In view of the possible third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the Western Central Railway (WCR) has installed three oxygen plants each in Central hospital of Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota division. WCR, General Manager Shailendra Kumar Singh and WCR, Mahila Kalyan Sangathan President Archana Singh inaugurated the oxygen plant of three divisions on August 15. The oxygen plant located at Central Railway Hospital Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota division has a capacity of 600,liutres, 500 litres and 500 liters respectively.
 
The oxygen plants work with Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) technique. The plant consists of three units namely refrigerator air drying unit, twin tower and oxygen storage tank. The oxygen plant will ensure uninterrupted supply of Liquefied Medical Oxygen to infected Covid-19 patients. General Manager Shailendra Kumar Singh has praised the medical staff for making preparatory arrangements to battle the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
