NSS volunteers pledge for
 
NSS volunteers associated with NSS Open Unit of Rani Durgavati University pledged to make a Tuberculosis (TB) Free Society on the occasion of Sadbhavana Diwas on Friday.
 
Following the directives jointly issued by the Madhya Pradesh State AIDS Control Society and Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, NSS volunteers concerned with Rani Durgavati University created awareness activities under TB Awareness Programme between August 13 and 20, 2021. Along with various awareness activities, its proper publicity was made through social media to involve more people in the campaign. All these activities were organised under the patronage of Vice-chancellor, Rani Durgavati University, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra, guidance of NSS Programme Co-ordinator, Professor Ashok Kumar Marathe and leadership of NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Devanshu Gautam who also played the role of the programme convener.
 
Simultaneously, the students enthusiastically participated in the poster and slogan writing competitions organised on the topic ‘TB Disease and its Prevention’. They expressed their opinions how to root out tuberculosis completely from our country.
 
As per results, Deeksha Verma, Trupti Dubey and Kanhaiya Choudhary top three positions in the slogan writing contest while Akanksha Pradhan, Renu Choudhary and Subendu Manna obtained first, second and third positions, respectively in the poster contest.
