THE Lady Entrepreneur’s Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) Nagpur will be organising a virtual programme on August 25 from 4 pm to 5.30 pm titled ‘The Incredible Story of An Amazing Entrepreneur - Dr Kalpana Saroj’. She is a Padmashri awardee of 2013. Dr Kalpana Saroj is the Chairperson of Kamani Tubes, Mumbai and CMD of Kalpana Saroj Global Aviation Pvt Ltd. Her story is of grit, resilience and hardship which can be an inspiration for all entrepreneurs and start-ups. Dr Saroj who originally hails from Akola is passionate about promoting Vidarbha and hence has forayed into the aviation space by starting with Engine Hospital MRO and Line Maintenance Facility at MIHAN-SEZ, Nagpur which is expected to generate substantial employment in this region.
