Martial arts players enthusiastically participated in blood donation camp organised on the occasion of World Wushu-Kungfu Day at Rani Durgawati Elgin Hospital, on Saturday. The blood donation camp was organized on the call of Wushu Association of India under the supervision of Sarika Gupta, Secretary, Wushu Association of Madhya Pradesh. In the camp, Sarika Gupta along with more than ten players of District Wushu Association donated blood and took oath for ensuring blood donation in case of any kind of medical emergency to patients through Red Cross Society. Sarika Gupta informed that the blood donation was conducted under the direction of International Wushu Federation on the occasion of World Wushu-Kungfu Day.
 
The camp was organized under the direction of Narendra Kumar Tripathi (Retd IPS), President of Wushu Association of MP. During the camp, Joint Director of Health Department, Sanjay Mishra encouraged the players for their noble gesture and greeted them on World Wushu-Kungfu Day. Team of doctors Dr. Puja Shrivastava, Sandhya Shrivastava, P Harrison and players include Shraddha Yadav, Sakshi Yadav, Divyansh Gupta, Krishnika Gupta, Abhishek Thakur, Aniruddha Sharma, Harshit Namdeo, Sparsh Khare, Anshita Pandey, Gaurishankar Pandey, Anushree Rai, Manjushri Rai, Shantanu Tiwari, Satyam Malik and others donated blood.
