JMC ensuring proper garbage disposal

 Senior officials urging citizens to keep dust bins at home and handover the garbage to JMC employees only.

The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) is toiling hard to expedite ongoing efforts for proper implementation of door-to-door garbage collection work and to make the system effective. Senior officials of the JMC, including Chief Sanitary Inspectors, are communicating with citizens and businessmen and urging them to hand over garbage to JMC employees only. Following the direction of JMC administration, senior officials of division no. 9 Lalmati visited many residential and commercial areas of the division and held discussion with the citizens and traders. The officials apprised people about door-to-door garbage collection process and asked them to help civic body in making the system successful. Chief Sanitation Inspector Anil Mishra and other officials also appealed citizens, businessmen, shop-keepers and vendors to co-operate with the JMC in door-to-door garbage collection. They also appealed to people not to throw garbage of their homes and establishments on roads and in open places. They were urged to keep dustbins at home and shop and handover the same to JMC employees.
 
Senior officials said they would continue to visit different areas of the city and would urge denizens for their optimum support in making door-to-door garbage collection successful. They said due cooperation of citizens would help us keeping the city clean and beautiful. Officials said the Municipal Corporation is operating a number of vehicles to collect domestic waste regularly. The JMC employees are reaching upto the doorsteps of citizens and collecting garbage. They said the citizens must also co-operate with the JMC by avoiding uncivilized act like dumping garbage along roads or throwing it in drains, nullahs. Officials said such act creates hurdle in on-going efforts and create uncleanliness in the city.
