Collector Harshika Singh visited Mohgaon Raiyat, Chubhawal, Swadga and other villages of Mohgaon development block and took stock of the Covid vaccination campaign organised in forest dominated villages. She said that work should be done by making a strong strategy to fulfill 100% target of Covid vaccination. Mobilise officers and employees by motivating them for vaccination. Similarly, prepare a list matching remaining people from vaccination with voters’ list and ensure their vaccination from door-to-door. Negligence of any kind in vaccination work will not be tolerated.
 
Additional Collector Meena Masram, ACEO, SS Maravi and officers concerned were present during the visit. Collector Harshika Singh directed that telling people the benefits of Covid vaccination, advise them to stay away from rumours. Inform people that vaccination is the only and safe way to avoid corona. She instructed to conduct announcement and door-to-door contact through field staff for vaccination. During her visit to Chubhawal, Collector, Harshika Singh inspected the works done under various schemes including budding, tree plantation. She directed that proper care should be taken of the plants planted by other schemes including MNREGA. She said that tree plantation would be considered successful only if the planted saplings could be saved. While selecting the site in Chubhawal, she directed to take necessary action for the construction of the pond.
 
She also took feedback from the villagers regarding the implementation of the schemes of the government. During her visit to Vangram Swamp, Collector, Harshika Singh gave information regarding economic activities to the members of selfc-help groups. She directed the officers of Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Project to make efforts to make the members of the group financially capable by imparting training according to their interests. Promote poultry, animal husbandry, mushroom production etc. Under MNREGA, the work of cattle shed etc. should also be done. She said that a proposal should be prepared to set-up collection and processing unit for Kodo-Kutki in the area.
