Collector Bhure removes Urban BMO Dr Jamgade for poor performance

In the review meeting of the Health Department, Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure expressed displeasure over the poor performance of Urban BMO Dr Jamgade and directed to remove him. In his place Dr Piyam Singh, Officer-in-Charge of Supela Hospital has also been given additional responsibility of Urban BMO and Dr Jamgade has been sent to Utai Health Centre. The Collector while reviewing the works of Health and Wellness Center during the meeting after not receiving satisfactory reply from Dr. Jamgade and in view of the weak performance gave instructions to remove him. Collector reviewed OPD at Health and Wellness Center.
 
He said that through the Health and Wellness Center, we can detect serious diseases early and work towards curing them before they emerge. For this all BMOs should work seriously. The Collector also directed to change the timings of OPDs in urban health centers. Now this work will be done from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm. The Collector said that the work of health is most important. Even the slightest negligence in this will not be tolerated. He said that work has to be done towards increasing the institutional deliveries. For this, make good arrangements in all the health centers. Where OT facilities are to be strengthened, all facilities will be provided.
 
He also discussed about the facility of radiologists in the centres. Along with this, instructions were given to appoint specialist doctors through DMF. He said that the government has provided health facilities in Haat Bazar. Here people should be adequately tested and hemoglobin etc. should also be tested so that any kind of disease can be identified early. He also directed to work towards screening of cervical cancer etc and keep an eye on dengue cases and process of vaccination must be continued at a rapid pace. Additional Collector Nupur Rashi Panna, Risali Commissioner Prakash Sarve and CMHO Dr Gambhir Singh Thakur and other officers were present in the meeting.
