Jabalpur’s Hrishikesh to share screen space with Big B in ‘Mayday’

On the sets of the Ajay Devgn film, Pandey showed a letter to Amitabh Bachchan signed and sent by Jaya Bachchan dated October 22, 1982, in reply to his letter wishing Big B to get well soon after life threatening accident on the sets of the movie ‘Coolie’ 
 
Sanskardhani’s Hrishikesh Pandey had done the city proud and achieved his dream by working with his idol, Amitabh Bachchan in Ajay Devgn’s forthcoming thriller ‘Mayday 2022’. It is no less than a dream for true for Hrishikesh to share screen space with the personality he has been idolised since childhood. While talking to ‘The Hitavada’, Hrishikesh Pandey said, “On growing up watching movies of Big B, it was just unimaginable to stumble upon this great opportunity. I had come across Amitji on several occasions but working with him is the best part of my life and acting career.” Hrishikesh informed that meeting, Bachchan Sahab on the set of ‘Mayday’ and showing his letter to him was the most affectionate moment of his life.
 
He showed a letter to Amitabh Bachchan signed and sent by Jaya Bachchan dated October 22, 1982, in reply of his letter sending wishing the Big B to get well soon after the life threatening accident on the sets of the movie ‘Coolie’. Hrishikesh, along with his sister Shashikala, wrote the letter to the Bachchan family praying for the health of Amitji when he was 6 years old.
 
The mega star was just amazed after seeing the reply sent by Jaya Bachchanm along with his photo, and gave him a pat on the back for still keeping the long lasting memory with him. Pandey added that being from a strict Army background, visiting cinema halls was restricted in the family but it was exempted for movies starring Amitabh Bachchan as the entire family was a huge fan of the film star. Hrishikesh has been working in television since a long time and also worked in some movies but the experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan provided him with a new experience and a window into Bollywood.
