DALMIA Cement (Bharat) Ltd., a leading Indian cement major and a subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited announced the launch of its premium offerings - Dalmia Cement Future Today (DCFT) and Infra Pro from its first manufacturing facility in Maharashtra at a glittering function held on Wednesday evening. They were launched in the presence of Hansraj Ahir, former MP, Subhash Dhote, MLA, Rajura (Chandrapur), Sanjay Wali, Director Sales, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd (New Delhi), Hakimuddin Ali, Executive Director, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, Rajesh Khanna, Sales Manager, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd and other office bearers of Vidarbha branch of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. Also present was Girish Rathi of Shri Anup Publicity.
 
On Tuesday, at a press conference Mahendra Singhi, MD and CEO of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd said, with the launches, the company aims to cater to the rising the cement demand, particularly for PPC cement, which is ideal for construction work exposed to aggressive weather conditions. “The cement will be initially available in markets across Nagpur, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Khandesh.” Produced by using superior ingredients for high-strength construction, Dalmia Cement Future Today comes in 50 kg laminated polypropylene bags. It is water and corrosion resistant, which provides best in class durability, he informed. The Infra Pro variant is also known for its consistency, high strength and performance. Further, the cement requires less water to produce concrete of the workability as compared to any other cement. “This helps in making the concrete stronger by imparting better impermeability.” Speaking on the launch, Hakimuddin Ali, Executive Director, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd said, “We are excited to launch our product offerings in Maharasthra. In the first phase, our products Dalmia Cement Future Today and Infra Pro will be launched in Nagpur, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Khandesh.”
 
He further added, “We believe that the ability of our cement to consume less water without compromising on the strength will help us accelerate the pace of market penetration of both our product brands.” The company has a key focus on sustainability and is known to have one of the lowest carbon footprint in the cement industry globally.
