The Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has formulated the Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme to provide pure drinking water to every household in rural areas. This scheme of the Central Government is proving to be a boon for rural areas. Administrative approval of Rs.123.14 lakhs has been given for Mohgaon region under the scheme. Citizens will get regular pure drinking water in every household as soon as the Jal-Jeevan Mission scheme is completed.
 
Union Minister of State for Steel, Rural Development, Faggan Singh Kulaste expressed the above views while laying the foundation stone of the scheme at Mohgaon district headquarters. Addressing the program organized, he said that the Prime Minister of the country, Modi has set a target to develop rural areas and fulfill every possible primary need of the villagers in time. Union Minister, Kulaste said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, in the coming time, pure drinking water will be delivered to the homes of citizens by completing the work in a phased manner in each of the Gram Panchayats of the district. Under the scheme, instructions were given to the department to complete the work of construction of high level drinking water tank including water filtration plant, tap connection and other construction within the time limit. On this occasion, former MLA, Rampyare Kulaste, Janpad President, Malti Maravi, Janpad Vice President, Rupendra Khadgare, District Panchayat member Anasuiya Maravi, Janpad member Pooja Agarwal, other public representatives and villagers were present.
