Chhattisgarh Sector CRPF Nava Raipur organised a cycle rally to promote ‘Fit India Movement’ and to mark 75 years of independence as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on September 5. The cycle rally was flagged off by IG CG Sector Prakash D from CRPF Chhattisgarh Sector Headquarter in Nava Raipur. After covering the distance of 5 kilometers, the rally culminated at Sector Headquarter. As many as 75 cyclists, including CRPF officers and personnel, participated in the rally. The cyclist passed through the prominent places and spread awareness of the Fit India Movement. On this occasion, IG Prakash D said “we are taking out this cycle rally to celebrate our freedom and for spreading awareness towards fitness”.

 

He further said that CRPF is organising various events to mark 75 years of independence as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ in which mega tree plantation programme, blood donation camp, cleanliness drive and Fit India Movements were organised. DIsG Shiv Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Baliram Behera, Senior officers and personnel of CRPF took part in this cycle rally enthusiastically. Officers of Nava Raipur Development Authority appreciated the efforts made by CRPF.
