The Tulsi Sahitya Academy launched the books ‘Jyon Naavik ke Teer’ written by Shiv Kumar Diwan and the book ‘Prabandh Kavya Laxman’ written by Dr Ashok Tiwari Aman at a restaurant on Sunday. The book launching programme was presided over by R S Khare and Dr Devendra was invited as the chief guest for the program. In the programme, Gokul Soni reviewed Dr Ashok’s composition ‘Prabandh Kavya Laxman’ while Ghanshyam Maithil Amrit reviewed Diwan’s work ‘Jyon Navik ke teer’. While reviewing the book, Ghanshyam Maithil Amrit opined that the poems penned down by Diwan are a satire on the current conditions. Gokul Soni while reviewing Ashok’s book termed it as a literary heritage. He also asserted that it must be called an epic instead of a poetry. Dr Ashok Tiwari narrated the Sulochan Prasang following Meghnad’s death in Ramayan, while Diwan recited some of the poems mentioned in his book “Jyon Navik Ke teer”. Chief Guest for the program Devendra Deepak stated that a book is equivalent to a cow and the authors are cow-keepers.

He also expressed his concern for the deteriorating state of Hindi literature, Hindi authors and their compositions. Presiding speaker of the program RS Khare opened to his speech with a satire and recited numerous poems from the composition. He also lauded the efforts of the Tulsi Sahitya Academy by stating that the academy is consistently contributing to the Hindi language, which is a noteworthy effort. National president of the Tulsi Sahitya Academy, Dr Mohan Tiwari conducted the program and expressed gratitude towards the conclusion of the program.
