Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary inspected the Primary and Higher Secondary Schools transferred under the Smart City Project on Tuesday. He was accompanied by Smart City’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ankit Asthana. During the inspection, Chaudhary also interacted with the Principal and faculty members of the Chandrashekhar Azad Government Secondary School and took stock of the arrangements being made at the school. Chaudhary instructed to finish the construction of the first and the second floors of the school. Along with this, he also directed to cover the campus premises of the Government Kasturba Higher Secondary and Primary School and instructed to ensure the tender process to make furniture available at Government Nutan Higher Secondary School.
 
He inspected the condition of several schools, which included Chandrashekhar Azad Government School, Kasturba Girls Higher Secondary Government and Primary school, Nutan Subhash Higher Secondary Government School and Deepshikha Government Secondary School. He interacted with the school personnel and took cognisance of the arrangements being made at the various schools. The Chandrashekhar Azad Government School is being made at the cost of Rs 2.5 crores under the Smart City Project, the ground floor work of which have been completed to resume the classes, while the first and second floor construction works are underway.
 
Municipal Commissioner Chaudhary inspected the construction work of Subhash Higher Secondary Government School also, which has been transferred to the TT Nagar locality under the Smart City Project. He directed to remove the partition between two classes of the school, keeping in view the strength of the class. Post this, he took stock of the arrangements at Deepshikha Government Secondary School, transferred at Saraswati Nagar and took stock of the school operations.
