The Governor of Chhattisgarh and chancellor of all universities, Anusuiya Uikey arrived at Bhilai on Sunday to participate in various events at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU) and inspected many of its projects. At first, the governor of state, Anusuiya Uikey inspected digital evaluation system of the university and later inaugurated a High-Tech studio at the university which was developed by CSVTU with funds provided by the World Bank. After inaugurating the studio, she visited all areas of the studio and took information about their working structure from vice chancellor of university, Dr M K Verma. The vice chancellor also submitted the report of development works in 42 villages which were adopted by the university. It is learnt that, CSVTU has adopted 42 villages and played an important role in the development of these villages.
 
Later, the Governor interacted with faculties of the universities and also met principles of those colleges which are affiliated to the university. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Anusuiya Uikey said that only with hard work and strong determination, a person can achieve success and there is no shortcut for success in life. She also appreciated university for starting courses which are in high demand because of its job oriented nature such as Artificial Intelligence. The governor also inspected a high revolution UV mapping machine. Vice -Chancellor Dr Verma informed that with this machine, 35 acres of land can be mapped easily. The machine is very useful in the field of PWD, urban, water resources and irrigation, agriculture, public health engineering, revenue, forest and mining department. Later the Governor inaugurated the Teacher Study Development Centre and discussed various issues with university staff as well as students. She also interacted with students on various subjects. The Governor also appreciated the solar system installed in the university campus and asserted that it will help the university to generate energy from renewable resources and not depend on non-renewable sources.
