BMC’s drive continues, slaps fine on people for not wearing masks

Bhopal Municipal Corporation is continuing its campaign against those people who are tossing the corona protocol to wind by not wearing the mask. On Tuesday, BMC officials conducted mask checking drive and slapped spot fine on those who were found without the mask. Over all, spot fine of Rs 1, 26,550 was recovered from 1334 people. Such people were also advised to wear mask and maintain social distancing as corona pandemic cases are once again on rise in city. In zone 1, fine of Rs 7,750 was recovered in 115 cases, Rs 7,800 in 81 cases in Zone 2, Rs 7000 in 69 cases in Zone 3. Fogging exercise to keep people safe To keep citizens safe from mosquito borne disease, BMC is regularly carrying out fogging exercise.
 
Hand operated machines and vehicles equipped with spraying machines were used to do fogging. On Tuesday, BMC did fogging exercise in Shanti Niketan, Lala Lajpat Rai Colony, Govind Garden, Chitragupt Nagar, Aradhana Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Aykar Colony, Berkhedi Bazaar, Vasundhara colony, Nagar Nigam Colony, Kevde Wala Bagh, Eco Green Colony, Puja Colony, Maharana Pratap School etc. BMC restarts sanitisation drive As corona is once again spreading its wings in the city, Bhopal Municipal Corporation has once again restarted sanitisation campaign. Vehicles are being used to sanitise public places. On Tuesday, sanitization activities were carried out in Char Imli, Shaymla Hills, 74 Bungalow, cyber crime police station, Mata Mandir, Second stop, Hoshangabad road, Mantralaya etc.
