BMC slaps fine on people for not wearing mask

Bhopal Municipal Corporation handed over spot fine to those who were not wearing the masks in city on Tuesday. Fine of more than Rs 1 lakh was recovered from the people who were not wearing the masks. From 1571 people, fine of Rs 1, 49, 560 was recovered from various parts of city. Along with this, fine of Rs 38,900 was recovered in 136 cases. BMC officials advised to follow the corona protocol and wear the masks to keep themselves safe. Apart from this, BMC also attached properties of two persons for not paying the property tax. Moreover, to keep citizens safe from the corona infection, BMC is regularly carrying out sanitization drive in city. Disinfectant is being sprayed at public places. On Wednesday, disinfectant was sprayed by BMC vehicles in areas of Char Imli, Shyamla Hills, 74 bungalow, Kolar road, Fortune Enclave, Sainath Colony etc.
 
Along with this, disinfectant was also sprayed at main routes of city and markets as well. BMC squad even went to some offices and sprayed the disinfectant. Notably, Bhopal has seen a steep hike in corona cases and every day, corona cases are rising. To keep citizens safe, BMC has once again embarked on campaign of sanitizing public places and offices as well. BMC vehicles go to public places and colony and starts spraying the disinfectant.
