CM discusses upcoming State Budget with ministers

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who also holds the finance portfolio, discussed the state budget proposals for the financial year 2022-23 with three cabinet ministers and officers at his official residence in the state capital on Wednesday. The Chief Minister discussed with Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Agriculture and Bio Technology, Livestock, Fishery, Water Resources and Anicut Ravindra Choubey, Minister for Twenty Points Programme, Panchayat and Rural Development, Public Health and Welfare Department, Medical Education and Commercial Tax (GST) T S Singhdeo and Minister for Public Works Department, Home, Jail, Religious Endowment and Trust and Tourism Tamradhwaj Sahu. Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu attended the meeting virtually. Baghel, who is holding the portfolios of the General Administration Department, Finance, Energy, Mineral Resources, Public Relations, Electronics and Information Technology and Aviation and other departments that have not been allotted to any cabinet minister, discussed with his departmental officials. Baghel completed department-wise pre-budget meetings of all the cabinet ministers.
