Madhulika Dutta, hailing from Raipur district of Chhattisgarh was honoured with Karamveer Chakra Award (White Medal) by Indian Confederation of NGOs (iCONGO) for her valuable services in the field of social works. She was selected for a Global Youth Fellow programme instituted by iCONGO in partnership with United Nations. Madhulika Dutta is the youngest Indian to receive this award for her work. It may be mentioned that the Karmaveer Chakra Award is the global civilian honours given by the iCONGO to the people across the globe for relentless courage. The award is tribute to former Prime Minister A P J Abdul Kalam. Madhulika is aa author, TEDx Speaker and also a food blogger. She is currently pursuing B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology from Jain University, Bangalore. She started writing when she was in Class 8. In 2019, her first book ‘Glittery Dreams’ was published. She received an award for ‘best debut writer’ in 2019. Madhulika virtually represented India in the international poetry competition that was held in New York. Madhulika Dutta won first prize in the competition. She always had an idea about how her writing connects with people and how people feel after reading her.
