Bhilai girl Avani brings laurels to State; shines in cooking competition

Avani made a secure place for herself as representative of India in upcoming World Cooking Competition 
 
Avani Patil, a Bhilaian brought laurels to the steel city as well as entire Chhattisgarh by winning gold medal in Bharat Kaushal Cooking Competition. She will represent India in upcoming World Cooking Competition. Avani is a resident of Bhilai and did her entire school education from Bhilai Steel Plant’s (BSP) run school and after completing Class 12 from Bhilai, Avani did her graduation from IHM Bhopal and now, she is a M Sc final year student of NCHMCT Noida. At first, she won the first prize in district-level Bharat Kaushal Cooking Competition and then she won gold medal in regional-level cooking competition as a representative of Madhya Pradesh.
 
It is learnt that, the regional level competition was held at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat where representatives of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Rajasthan participated and displayed their cooking skills. As winner of regional-level competition, Avani participated in National Level-India Skills Competition as representative of western part. Here, 54 contestants of 26 states participated and exhibited their talent by making several cuisines. From childhood days, Avani is learning cooking and credits her success to her father, Anil Patil and mother, Sangeeta Patil. Avani wants to make her position at cooking in international level.
