Though Van Vihar National Park resumed nature trail for tourist, the unprecedented challenge of Covid-19 has spoiled the plan. The first day of nature trail witnessed number of tourist below average. The nature train will be provided only on Saturdays. On this trail, visitors will get to know about flora and fauna along with scenic beauty. The trail is about 2.4 km long with 20 selfie points. The nature trail begins from Samsar sight (Upper Lake) and passing through Bird Center, Butter Fly Park, Snake house, grassland, etc areas. Visitors will get to watch herbivores animals and varieties of birds. Advance booking from gate no 2 will be mandatory for all. Advance booking will be held from Monday to Thursday. There are two packages including Rs 250 per person and Rs 500 per person. Minimum number of people in each trip will be 10 and maximum 20.

 

First package Ramu package includes three hours duration 8 am to 11 am and second package Chiku package six hours from 8 am to 2 am. In this nature trail, tourists will get to see and know the wildlife, birds, nature and water bodies present in the National Park. At present, visitors in the park get to watch the animals displayed in enclosure but do not know about them. There are many question rises in the mind of visitors about animals. They want to know food, care taking, home, etc information related to wildlife. In nature trail, tourist will have answers of all question related to wildlife.
